Visiting London – What to do and what to avoid

I’ve now lived in London for a bit more than 3 years, and have had many good friends and members of my family coming to visit me. There are a few places that people always want to visit and I try to get them to avoid, and then there are the places I have shown them. Favourite things to do in Marseille

I spent 5 wonderful months in Marseille in 2008-2009, here are a few of my favourite things to do: Stroll along the old harbour, possibly buy a fish for your supper or on a Saturday a bouquet of flowers. Have a cup of coffee and a macaroon – the big ones are fantastic! I personally think they are the best in the world! – in a tiny Patisserie Ines just between the harbour and the Opera. Louis le Maire, f. 1836 d. 1913

le Maire, Abraham Louis, f. 1836, Officer. Han er en Søn af Fuldmægtig i Admiralitetet David Chrétien le M. og Louise f. Müller og blev født i Kjøbenhavn 25. Jan. 1836. 17 Aar gammel kom han ind paa den kongl. militære Højskole, hvorfra han 1857 afgik som Sekondlieutenant i Artilleriet med Aldersorden fra 1853, men gjennemgik 1859-61 nævnte Skoles Stabsafdeling (han blev Premierlieutenant 1860), saa at han, efter at have gjort Tjeneste ved de forskjellige Vaaben og ved den topografiske Afdeling, i Dec. 1863 blev ansat som Adjudant ved Overkommandoen og deltog som saadan i Felttoget 1864. Nov. 1814.Hans Forældre vare Kunstmaler og Tegnelærer Daniel Frédéric le M. og Marguerite Henriette Wilhelmine f. van Helsdingen. Faderen nedstammede fra en i Begyndelsen af det 18. Aarhundrede indvandret Huguenotfamilie. I sit 14. Aar blev le M. ansat hos Joseph Hambro (VI, 522) og opnaaede efterhaanden en meget betroet Stilling.
