Background and Purpose

On this page, you can read our policy for processing personal data. In general, we process personal data when you are a customer of ours, or when we receive personal data from you in connection with the use of our website. We use personal data to customize and improve our content.

We respect your privacy and therefore only collect data about you in accordance with applicable Danish law.

Personal Information

General

Personal information is any kind of information that to some extent can be attributed to you. When you use our website, we collect and process a variety of such information. This happens, for example, when accessing content, signing up for our newsletter, participating in contests or surveys, registering as a user or subscriber, using other services, or making purchases via the website.

We typically collect and process the following types of information: A unique ID and technical information about your computer, tablet, or mobile phone, your IP number, geographic location, and which pages you click on (interests).

To the extent that you explicitly consent and enter the information yourself, we also process: Name, phone number, email, address, and payment information. This will typically be in connection with creating a login or making a purchase.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

All images uploaded to the website are cleaned of embedded location data (EXIF GPS). This means visitors to the website cannot download and extract location data from images on the website.

Contact Forms

When visitors use the contact form on the website, we collect name, email, IP address, and the message written. The entered data – filtered for sensitive information – is sent as notifications via email to the website owner and the visitor who filled out the form. Entries are permanently deleted after 30 days and are not used for marketing purposes unless consent is given.

Security

We have implemented technical and organizational measures to prevent your information from being accidentally or unlawfully deleted, disclosed, lost, impaired, or accessed by unauthorized persons, misused, or otherwise processed in violation of the law.

Purpose

The information is used to identify you as a user and show you the ads that are most likely to be relevant to you, to record your purchases and payments, and to provide the services you have requested, such as sending a newsletter. In addition, we use the information to optimize our services and content.

Retention Period

The information is kept for the period allowed by law and we delete it when it is no longer necessary. The period depends on the nature of the information and the reason for storing it. Therefore, it is not possible to specify a general timeframe for when information is deleted.

Disclosure of Information

Data about your use of the website, which ads you receive and possibly click on, geographic location, gender, and age segment, etc., are disclosed to third parties to the extent that this information is known. You can see which third parties are involved in the “Cookies” section above. The information is used for advertising targeting.

In addition, we use a number of third parties for storage and processing of data. These third parties process information solely on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Disclosure of personal information such as name and email, etc., will only occur if you give consent. We only use data processors in the EU or in countries that can provide your information with adequate protection.

Your Rights

As our customer, we process your information as part of an agreement. This gives you the following rights:

  • Access and Rectification: You can contact us and request access to the personal information we process, and request that it be corrected if it is incorrect. You can also object to the use of information at any time.
  • Deletion: As a customer, you can request that data about you be deleted. We can only delete data that is not necessary to maintain the agreement, and data that we are not required to process under applicable law.
  • Data Portability: You have the right to receive the personal information you have provided to us in a machine-readable format.

How to Contact Us

If you contact us, for example, to request access to your data, it is important to us that we do not disclose your personal information to anyone other than you. Therefore, we must be able to verify that you are actually the person you claim to be.
